An Open Letter to Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia Concerning the Situation in Iran and the Women’s Liberation Movement

This letter is from a collective of Iranian students and scholars at Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia.

We hope to sustain the pursuit of the Iranian people for self determination and emancipation from patriarchal domination by supporting, to the best of our ability, Iranians at home and in the struggle. It is in light of these circumstances that we urge Simon Fraser University (SFU) and the University of British Columbia (UBC) to act accordingly and continue to support Iranian students, staff, and faculty
